Sime-Darby Motor today launched the improved i10 model, with an enhanced engine as well as updated cosmetic in line with the latest Hyundai design language.

Aesthetically, the new car can be distinguished by its new front end design, consists of new headlamps and front bumper assembly, inclusion of side repeater on the side mirror, revised tail light graphic and customary new rear bumper.
For the interior, the revised i10 gets new meter cluster with much classier design. It also gained a digital screen showing the fuel gauge, gear position and ODO meter.
For the engine, the Kappa 1.25 litre gained a new valvetrain system, dubbed CVVT which bumped the power and torque output to 86bhp and 120Nm from 79bhp and 112Nm previously. Claimed fuel consumption for this version is 5.3litre/100km. The 1.1litre Epsilon engine is carried over unchanged at 65bhp. Both engine are paired to 4 speed auto transmission. Another highlight is the introduction of Electric Power Steering, further aid fuel economy.
The car comes with 6 colors, where some are reserved for specific variants only.
The 1.25 litre High-Spec gets ABS (with EBD) and dual airbags as standard, which are NIL on other variants. Details spec are as below:
