Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) today revealed Nissan latest offerings to cater the top end of Malaysian buyer today. Pegged more than RM300k apiece, the model in questions are the Nissan Elgrand full size MPV and the updated second generation Nissan Murano. Priced at RM384,863 and RM318,882 respectively, it is clear that these cars are pitched at the higher end, exclusive Japanese car market.
First up is Nissan Elgrand. This gigantic MPV is the rivals to the equally massive Toyota Alphard/Vellfire in their homeland downtown Tokyo. Measuring massive 4,915mm long, the 7-seater MPV offers a truly business-class like seat comfort. Short of offering 5 course meal during the travel, Elgrand however does have the seat facilities equivalent to business class where 3 of the front 2 row are ottoman type, with adjustable foot rest for these seat, saved for the driver! The cabin is contained within the 3,000mm wheelbase, 1,850mm wide and 1,815mm tall. Fully flat floor features also enhanced the cabin usefulness in terms of passenger comfort and manoeuvrability.
