Extended Toyota Auris range coming to Paris Motorshow

Toyota is set to unveiled the extension to the newly introduced Auris model at Paris Motorshow. Teased ahead of the glamour car show, there will be the New Auris which demonstrates Toyota’s determination to create cars that are more appealing and more rewarding to drive,  a higher quality interior, better driving dynamics and increased efficiency across its powertrain line-up which now includes hybrid version.

Toyota will also add an estate car body style to the Auris range for the first time with the introduction of the new Auris Tourer. It will be the first model in its class to offer the choice of full hybrid power, as well as petrol and diesel engines, and it will give Toyota representation in part of the market that currently accounts for around 25 per cent of core European compact/C-segment car sales. The sharply styled Tourer’s styling follows similar cues to its hatchback sister model, but without compromising loadspace.
Lastly, it is the revamped Verso, a significantly revised version of the compact people carrier that showcases the company’s European design and engineering capabilities. New Verso adopts Toyota’s new design language, displaying a clear family identity. The interior has been upgraded too, and among the powertrains the 2.0 D-4D diesel engine has been re-engineered to give stronger performance with lower CO2 emissions. Verso’s driving dynamics and NVH levels have also been improved.
