Mazda6 Station Wagon first official photo

Mazda has released some early photos of the Mazda6 Station Wagon. There is no technical data released such as the new dimension and cargo volume thus we might have to wait until the official unveiling at Paris Motor Show, which also the debut venue of the European Mazda6.
Compared to the Sedan, the styling differs only towards the back, as expected. The heavily slanted rear screen indicates the sportier positioning of the new 6, together with the shallowing of the glass house towards the rear end. The rear fascia design is as per the Sedan, with stretched rear lights and a full span of chrome garnish. The debut of the European model also will include the detail of the diesel powertrain, although we don't foresee a significant difference from the CX-5 crossover engine variant. Some more photos can be found after the jump.
