After months in doldrums, Perodua is back to top the sales chart in July, where the new Myvi leads the way. The new Perodua baby records 8,447 units, which are; firstly a gigantic jump from 1,822 units in June, and secondly, firmly back and exceed previous Myvi monthly sales. Whether this is due quick delivery of backlog booking or not remain to be seen.
Previous record holder, Proton Saga sees a reduction from 6,192 units to 5,233 units in July 2011. Perodua Viva, Proton Persona and Perodua Alza complete the top five.
