We don't see a super-SUV often, and there are currently only a few of them. BMW X6M and Porsche Cayenne Turbo are typical examples. Welcome to the latest addition in the elitist circle of mega-SUV, the one-off concept of Infiniti FX50 Sebastian Vettel Edition.
Produced to commemorate the relationship between Infiniti and Red Bull Racing team, the SUV has been enhanced with a host of critical updates. The engine, though remained at 5.0l V8, has been uprated from 390bhp to 420bhp through some tweaking in the ECU and revised exhaust system. Speed limiter has been removed too, and the car now reached 300km/h, with 5.6 seconds of century sprint.
Exterior of the car is adorned with carbon fibre parts including skirting, air intakes, side mirrors and rear spoiler. These aerodynamics appendages (some are inspired by RB7 bodywork design) together with 20mm lower stance helped to reduce the aerodynamic drag by 5% and increase the downforce by 30%. Weight has been trimmed too by 46kg. The black wheel are 21" in diameter.
The interior of the car was littered with carbon fibre and alcantra. These materials can be found on the seat, console and door trims.
