Toyota Fortuner facelift launched in Malaysia

It could be an old news, as the facelifted Fortuner has debuted in Indonesia last July. UMW-Toyota has formally launched the updated SUV on October 7th. The hard-core 4X4 is launched as 4 model range with price from RM 167,128 to RM181,520.

The facelift consist of new chrome front grille, headlamp and fender extension and new bumpers. Rear light gets a new graphic too. Opting for Sportivo trim level will give you a new stylish front and rear skirting.  


For the cabin, the light hue on previous model made way for darker shade. The center console has been redesigned too, with horizontal aircond control to emphasize the width of the car. The meter binnacle has been reworked aesthetically, with the separator between the dials has been removed. For the trimmings, 2.5G model is garnished in silver accents, whereas the 2.7V gets new black wood grain. New. more executive looking steering wheel is part of the package too. The drivetrain package is similar to before, with 2.5l D-4D diesel unit with 102PS and 260Nm of power and torque figure respectively, and 2.7l petrol with 160PS and 241Nm. Both engine are big capacity in-line four cylinder item and mated to four (yes its a four speeder!) speed automatic transmission.
